What We Believe

We believe in God the Father who is the creator and possessor of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1; Psalm 24:1, 2)

We believe in God the Son, who is the savior of mankind and the only way to the Father. (John 14:6)

We believe in God the Holy Spirit who is the active agent at work in the earth today. (John 14:25, 26)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired and eternal word of God, and that it is the standard for our life and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We believe in the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ and that we can partake of the salvation He has provided by our confession and our belief. (1 John 4:9, 10; Romans 10:9, 10)

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation in the Church today and that they are distributed as the Holy Spirit wills. (1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

We believe that the tithe is holy unto to the Lord and we believe in the liberal giving of offerings for the furtherance of the Gospel. (Malachi 3:8-10; 2 Corinthians 8:6, 7)

We believe in the hope of the Church–that the dead in Christ will one day rise and those who remain will be caught up to meet Jesus. (1 Corinthians 15:51, 52; 1 Thessalonians
4:13-17)

We believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ. We believe immediately following the tribulation, He will establish His millennial kingdom on earth. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15:51-53; Revelation 20:6; Zechariah 14:4-11)

We believe the Lord Jesus left for the obedience of His people two ordinances, memorial of character, which are to be observed during this present age: Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are commanded by Christ.

We believe in the personality of Satan, who is the open and declared enemy of God and God’s people, the destroyer of human lives and whose destiny is eternal punishment. (Job 1:6-7; John 10:10; Ephesians 6:10-20; Revelation 21:10)
